The Walled Garden
The White Garden, by contrast to the Flower Garden, is serene, idyllic and tranquil. The central water feature is flanked by borders of white, cream and silver plants, creating a romantic atmosphere. It is a place in which to sit and enjoy.
The Organic Vegetable Garden is a practical and working kitchen garden, employing traditional methods such as companion planting which creates wonderful colour and texture mixes as well as bringing pest-reduction benefits. It is also home to our collection of Garden Organic Heritage Seed Library plants - rare and heritage plants which are grown for their seed production.
Other features include the lovely Tennis Lawn and Moat Borders, the magnificent Wisteria, the Grapevine Walk, the Wildflower Meadow and a small Plant Sales area.
